Teen Braces in Orland Park, IL
Following Phase I, we recommend our teen patients receive Phase II orthodontic treatment between the ages of 11 and 15. Typically, by the age of 12, almost all of the permanent teeth have erupted. With all of the permanent teeth in place, crooked teeth, gaps, and bad bites can be easily detected and treated. With teens rapidly growing at this age, orthodontists are able to take advantage of the growth spurts to help shape their bite and teeth correctly.
Phase II treatment is commonly normal orthodontic treatment, involving placing braces on teen patients to straighten their permanent teeth and correctly align their jaws. We proudly offer braces to those in the Tinley Park and Orland Park, IL areas. These types of braces include:
- Traditional metal braces
- Clear, ceramic braces
- Invisalign Teen
